Jahan Alamzad

Jahan has been a long-term senior executive and advisor. He has been managing principal of CA Advisors. He was also director of strategy and analytics at PricewaterhouseCoopers and director of airline, aerospace, and operations research at Applied Decision Analysis, Inc. Before his consulting career, he worked at American Airlines and United Airlines. and co-founded California Airlines and was its CEO. He has served on the faculty of the School of Business and Management at Notre Dame de Namur University, and on the faculty of the Department of Aviation at San Jose State University.

Jahan holds a masters in management science and engineering from Stanford University, as well as a masters in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Southern California, and bachelor degrees in civil engineering and electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.

Matthew Sheble Vice President, Laminaar Americas

Matthew brings over 25 years of leadership experience in implementing business strategies in a variety of industries. Prior to LAMINAAR, Matthew was Managing Principal with CA-Advisors, a founding partner and Corporate Director with GoCar Tours and held executive roles with TAG Aviation USA / Jet Direct Aviation, Flight Partners Group and Solairus Aviation.

Matthew holds a BS degree in Aviation from San Jose State University with a minor in Business. He is a commercial pilot and a certified flight instructor (CFI) and frequently lectures in Aviation Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Marla Mcgatlin

Marla Mcgatlin has over 20 years of experience improving efficiencies and promoting cross-functional collaboration in organizations. Prior to Laminaar, in a leadership role with Landmark Aviation, she built a client relations team that served 100+ high net worth individuals, creating a new service niche for the business. She has earlier held leadership positions with Solairus Aviation, Sentient Flight Group, and TAG Aviation USA / JetDirect Aviation.

Marla holds a MS degree in Aviation Management Technology from Arizona State University, a BS degree in Aviation Operations from San Jose State University and is a trained Executive and Life Coach.

Don Hitch

Don Hitch has been in business and general aviation for over 30 years in a variety of leadership positions. Before joining Laminaar, Don was a Vice President at Wonderful Aviation, President at Flight Partners Group, and President and GM at AMI Jet Charter where he managed a fleet of 70 aircraft and over 350 employees. Subsequently, with Sentient Flight Group and JetDirect Aviation, Don served as the Vice President of Part 91 Operations and as a Client Responsible Officer with an oversight of Flight Standards. Don is an ex-director with a multi-aircraft operation that included Boeing 757s and provided travel service to three professional sports teams and a large-scale concert tour. He remains active in the aviation community where he has held various chair positions, e.g., the NBAA, as also, the Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association.

Don is type rated in the Boeing 757, G-V, Global Express, G-1159, Sabreliner 65 and the Citation 500/550 aircraft and has logged over 8000 accident free hours.

Steve Mineck

Steve Mineck leads the Laminaar Americas project implementation team. He brings over 40 years of experience in commercial airline operations, business aviation, aircraft manufacturing and FAA government contract work. Most recently, he served as Manager of Flight Dispatch Operations at United Airlines, based in Chicago. Steve brings to Laminaar a wealth of experience in managing cross-divisional group dynamics, directing process improvements and presenting technical reports, briefings, proposals and presentations. Steve has spent most of his career in the airline system control environment, including line maintenance, aircraft routing, flight dispatch, charter operations, military contracts and fleet technical training.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Luther College and has completed post graduate coursework in Aviation Safety at the University of Southern California. He holds FAA Mechanic and Dispatcher Airmen’s Certificates and is PMP certified.

David Huntzinger

David Huntzinger is an accomplished safety expert in the aviation industry. Prior to joining Laminaar Americas, David was Director, System Safety for Ornge, a President of AeroSSQ and a GM Safety, Security & Compliance for Air Pacific. David has held various aviation safety leadership positions, e.g., with Korean Air as Vice President – Safety, Security & Compliance and with Eurocopter as Vice President – Fleet Safety. David’s expertise includes all aspects of aviation safety, security, quality and emergency response. He has been a Subject Matter Expert with ICAO, a Vice President of Safety for America West Airlines, and served as an accident investigation team leader for Boeing Commercial and Bell Helicopter.

David has a PhD in Safety from the Union Institute and University, a Master’s of Science in Safety from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Hawaii. David served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard and is an accomplished pilot with over 50 different types of aircraft flown throughout his career. David holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with a helicopter rating as well as a Commercial Pilot certificate with a multi-engine land rating.

Cheri Taub

Cheri Taub brings extensive experience to Laminaar Americas in the areas of client relations, product sales and support, flight operations and vendor management. Prior to joining Laminaar, Cheri was a Vice President at TAG Aviation Services, served as Director of Business Development for CTP Aviation and was a Director of Charter Operations for XOJET. Cheri has also held management positions with FlightSafety International, MGM Resorts Aviation, Sunset Aviation, and Meridian Air Charter.

John Arensberg

John Arensberg has over 25 years of experience in business development, customer retention and program management. Before joining Laminaar Americas, John was a Regional Sales Manager for Honeywell where he directly engaged and supported clients with a portfolio of service offerings and cabin connectivity solutions. Prior to Honeywell, John was with Jeppesen Sanderson for over 20 years, most recently serving as a Senior Manager for International Trip Planning Services where led a group of 125 professionals and worked with over 300 Fortune 500 corporate flight departments, government agencies, aircraft manufactures and private operators.

John has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Operations from San Jose State University along with a Certificate in Project Management from University of California Santa Cruz, and is a private pilot.

James Spadaro

James Spadaro is an IT professional with over 15 years in the business aviation industry. He started his career with TAG Aviation as a consultant, growing to become their Principal IT Solutions Architect. In 2008, he co-founded and was the CEO of FlightApps, which provided cloud-based IT services to over 150 flight departments worldwide. After the acquisition of FlightApps in 2016, James joined the OneSky Network team as the Director of Sales Engineering. With his unique combination of technical, business and leadership skills, James has excelled in improving IT solutions for hundreds of clients worldwide, in addition to authoring IT study guides like the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) for MetaFrame 1.8 (Exam 218) and XP Study Guide (Exam 220) by Syngress Media, Inc.

James holds a business degree from Michigan State University, technical certifications from Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, and VMWare.
